Saucepan Oatmeal Cookies
Not your normal oatmeal cookie, the dough for these Saucepan Oatmeal Cookies is made in a saucepan!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 cups oats
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 well-beaten eggs
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Grease a cookie sheet; set aside. Preheat oven to 375F.
- In a medium saucepan combine butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Cook and stir over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat. Add oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir until combined. Add eggs; mix well. Stir in white chocolate chips and cranberries.
- Drop batter by rounded teaspoons 3 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheet, stirring the batter often.
- Bake for 6 to 7 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

These look great! But, I have a question about the ingredients…in the ingredients list it calls for 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and 1/2 cup dried cranberries, but in the instructions it calls for coconut?
