I put frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot with a cup of water in the bottom. I sprinkle them with garlic salt, pepper, and onion powder. Cook for several hours on low. Shred with 2 forks and it is ready to do a ton of things with. It freezes great also.

My go-to for chicken is normally something involving pasta or tortillas! YUM.
I add a bay leaf or two to my chicken when I simmer it before shredding it – it makes a difference. I’ll add garlic next time. (Don’t forget to save any stock from the cooked chicken!)
