Chicken, bacon, and ranch flavors come together in these Baked Chicken Bacon Ranch Taquitos. They also freeze well for easy lunches or dinners.

Ever since I made my first Chicken Flautas years ago, I have gone crazy making every version and variety. And since I love ranch so much (hello Ranch Potatoes, Chicken Bacon Ranch Wraps, Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza – just to name a few), I knew I’d love these.
And I was right.
They were perfect in every way. And I love that this recipe makes a ton. We ate some of them for dinner and froze the rest. They have already come in handy for easy lunches or easy dinner if the day has been so crazy that I haven’t been able to make dinner. They are a winner!
Ingredients
- Cream Cheese: I have only ever made this recipe with full fat cream cheese, but reduced fat should work.
- Ranch Seasoning Mix: You can usually buy this in packets at the grocery store, or if you use a lot of it like I do, you can buy it in bulk. This is dry ranch seasoning, not prepared ranch dressing.
- Cooked, Shredded Chicken: If you are a regular reader here, you know that this one of my favorite dinner hacks. I like to make a big batch of cooked, shredded chicken and then freeze it so I always have some on hand. You can also use a rotisserie chicken, or leftover chicken.
- Bacon: I like to dice my bacon into smallish pieces for this recipe.
- Cheese: You can really use any cheese you want, but Monterey Jack is my favorite. It’s creamy and melts well.
- Green Onion: This adds a bit of freshness to the filling.
- Tortillas: While you can make these with corn tortillas, flour tortillas are my favorite. They are easier to work with, and my kids prefer flour to corn.
- Coarse Salt: This takes your taquitos to the next level. You simply add a sprinkling of salt on the taquitos after spraying with nonstick cooking spray before baking. That bit of salt really brings in another layer of flavor.
How to Make Baked Chicken Bacon Ranch Taquitos
STEP 1: Mix the cream cheese together with the ranch seasoning mix. I find it’s easiest to mix these first so that the seasoning is evenly distributed.
STEP 2: Add the chicken, bacon, cheese, and green onion. Mix this all together well.
STEP 3: Place some of the chicken mixture down the center of one of your tortillas. It should be about 3 tablespoons. Roll the tortilla up, and place seam side down on a foil lined baking sheet.
STEP 4: Repeat with all of the tortillas and filling. Spray the tops with nonstick cooking spray and then sprinkle with the coarse salt. Alternately, you can also brush them with olive oil.
Tips and Tricks
- I honestly like to eat these just on their own, but they are also delicious dipped in ranch dressing.
- These taquitos freeze really well. I like to place them in a freezer safe container or bag where I can grab one or two out as needed. That way you have them on hand for easy lunches.
- You can freeze them baked or unbaked. If I’m making them one by one, I like to bake them before freezing.
- I like these reheated the best in the air fryer. You can also use a microwave. I don’t love them reheated in the oven as much, just because they tend to dry out too much for me. If you did not bake them before freezing them, they are best cooked in the oven.

Baked Chicken Bacon Ranch Taquitos
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese softened
- 4 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 12 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 3 to 4 tablespoons chopped green onion
- 1 (1 oz package) dry ranch dressing mix
- 20 (6-inch) flour tortillas
- salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF. Cover a large baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and the ranch seasoning mix. Add in the chicken, bacon , cheese, and green onion. Stir to mix well.
- Working with one tortilla at a time, add about 3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture down the center. Roll the tortilla up and place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Continue with the rest of the tortillas and filling.
- Once all of the taquitos are assembled, spray the top with cooking spray. (I like to use avocado oil.) Sprinkle the coarse salt over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the taquitos are golden brown and the filling is heated through, about 13-15 minutes.
- Serve the taquitos with prepared ranch dressing, for dipping.
