I wasn’t going to post a dessert today, because I have a whole week of red velvet desserts coming to you next week. But then I realized that I haven’t even posted a dessert at all for 2 weeks now, and really, I don’t think I’ve ever gone that long without posting a dessert!!
So I am here with cookies. And not just any cookies. Banana Split Cake Mix Cookies.
Now, I’ll admit that I do love a good cake mix cookie every once in awhile. And it’s pretty obvious that all of you do because the cake mix cookies I posted in 2007 are still the #2 recipe here.
Today’s recipe has a few more ingredients mixed in, but you get an incredibly flavorful cookie with very little effort. You don’t even need a mixer – these come together by hand in a matter of minutes!! They are super soft and full of banana, chocolate and cherry flavors. And don’t forget the sprinkles!!

Can you replace the banana pudding with a real banana, and would it turn out okay?
Deborah says
You are only using the pudding mix (not the prepared pudding) so you wouldn’t be able to just swap one for the other.

Everyone loved them, and I’m making the third batch now. I used melted butter instead of oil. Thank you.

Hello Ms. Deborah, you mentioned that these are soft cookies? What would you do to get them a bit firmer?
Thank you.
