A little bit sweet and a little bit spicy, these Brown Sugar Sriracha Bacon Bites are the easiest appetizer recipe. Plus, they’ll disappear fast because they are so popular!
Give me all of the bacon appetizers, including these Bacon Wrapped Smokies and these Sausage Stuffed Peppers.
The countdown is really on now – the new year is really right around the corner. And if you are looking for a last minute appetizer to whip up for your guests, I’ve got you covered. Only 4 ingredients, 10 minutes of hands on time, and you have these Brown Sugar Sriracha Bacon Bites that are literally so addicting that I ate an obscene amount of them myself when I was testing the recipe. The spicy/salty/sweet combination is one of my favorite things ever, and this recipe has it all. The only caution I would give you with this recipe is to make it when you have guests to serve it to so you don’t eat them all yourself!!
Ingredients
Sriracha: This is the spicy part of the recipe. I haven’t tested the recipe with other kind of pepper sauce, but the sriracha was pretty perfect, in my opinion!
Brown Sugar: I use light brown sugar.
Bacon: You’ll want thick cut bacon for this recipe.
Sesame Seeds: The sesame seeds will toast up a bit in the oven, so no need to use toasted sesame seeds.

Brown Sugar Sriracha Bacon Bites
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Sriracha chili sauce
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 10 thick-cut bacon slices each cut into 4 pieces
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325ºF. Line 2 baking sheets with foil, then place a cooling rack on top. Spray generously with nonstick cooking spray.
- Combine the Sriracha and the brown sugar in a medium bowl. Add the bacon and stir to coat each of the pieces in the mixture. Place the bacon pieces on the prepared baking sheets in a single layer.
- Bake the bacon until almost crisp, 30-45 minutes. During the last 5 minutes, sprinkle the sesame seeds evenly over the bacon.
- Remove from the oven. Cool for 5-8 minutes, moving the pieces every couple minutes to prevent them from sticking to the rack.
- The bacon will crisp more as it cools.
