Perfect for Christmastime and beyond, these Cherry Chocolate Nut Cookies are soft cookies that are packed with chocolate, cherries, and crunchy pistachios.
If you love chocolate and cherry, make sure you also check out these Baked Chocolate Donuts with Cherry Glaze.
My mom asked me the other day what cookies I would make if I was going to a cookie swap. And for some reason, my mind completely froze. I’ve made lots of cookies over the years. But all of a sudden, I couldn’t even think of one cookie that would be perfect for a cookie swap.
Well, after making these cookies, both my mom and I decided that these cookies would be perfect for a cookie swap. I think the cherries make them festive for Christmas. And everyone likes a bit of chocolate, right?? I chose pistachios to add to these, but I think almost any nut would work equally well. (And just for the record, since that conversations, I remembered quite a few cookies that would be great for a cookie swap!)

This is too coincidental! First thanks for the feature–I think those Pink Peppermint Chip Cookies will be my favorite for a long time. Second, my post for tonight is Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies. I guess it is bound to happen sooner or later that someone has the same brilliant idea as me at the same time. Your pictures are outstanding and I love the addition of pistachios. My daughter suggested adding dried cherries to my chocolate chip cookies because I like chocolate covered cherries. I am going to try them with fresh cherries next time. Thank you for hosting. I enjoy coming by every week to take a look at all the fabulous stuff. Have a great week!
