It’s no secret that I’m wrap obsessed. Maybe it’s because I’m carb obsessed. And wraps are just another way to get to my carbs. I mean, I love a good salad as much as the next girl. But throw it inside a tortilla, and of course I’m sold!!
So I am back with more wrap inspiration. This one in the form of Chicken Caesar salad.
This wrap recipe came about as I was scavenging the fridge to find something to make for lunch one day. I had all of the ingredients on hand for an easy Caesar salad, but I wanting something a little more substantial. So I thought – why not turn it into a wrap?
So here’s to lunch – may it be filled with Chicken Caesar Wraps!
Ingredients
- Lettuce: I like to use romaine because it has a nice crunch as well as good flavor.
- Bacon: This is a great way to use leftover bacon. If you do have to fry up some bacon, it may take a few minutes longer to make this recipe.
- Chicken: This Chicken Caesar Wrap comes together in a jiffy if you keep cooked, shredded chicken on hand like I do. You can also use leftover rotisserie chicken.
- Dressing: I used store bought Caesar dressing, because when you are trying to throw together a quick lunch, you’re not going to want to have to take the time to make it from scratch. My favorite bottled sauce is the Bolthouse Farms Caesar Dressing. Not only does it taste great, but it’s also a little lighter and better for you.
- Parmesan: I like to use freshly grated parmesan.
- Croutons: I also thought it would be fun to chop up some croutons and put them inside the wrap. I loved the extra crunch that they brought to the wrap.
- Tortilla: I usually just use large, burrito sized tortillas. They also make flavored tortillas, like sun-dried tomato or spinach, that would be delicious.

- Roughly chop the croutons. then stir them into the mixture.
- Microwave the tortilla for a few seconds to make them easier to roll, then spread the filling down the center. Fold the sides in, then roll the tortilla over the filling.

Tips and Tricks
This recipe is for one serving, but can easily be doubled, tripled, or quadrupled to serve more.
These really are best eaten just after they are prepared. The lettuce and the croutons will start to get soggy if made too far in advance. I do think they would be just fine making one in the morning to have ready for lunch.
I also like to add a good bit of freshly grated pepper to mine.

Great recipe! I wondering how freezable these are or how long you can keep them in the fridge?
Deborah says
I don’t think the croutons or the lettuce would freeze well. You should be able to make them the morning that you need them, but the longer they are in the refrigerator, the soggier they will get.

Had this for supper tonight. Just doubled up the recipe for me and my hubby. He loved it…and so did I. And I have a bit of the filling left over for my lunch tomorrow. Thank you.

It was great! I added shredded cheese as well and more bacon and caesar sauce. I make more than I need and cover it in the fridge so my kids can make another wrap for a snack, or lunches.

These look so great! I plan on making them for our tennis team. I was wondering if you thought they could be made the night before?
Thank you!
Deborah says
They might get a little soggy if you make them the night before. I still think they’d be edible, but they are best eaten on the day they are made.
Deborah Allen says
These look soooo good! Could you make them the morning of and have for lunch that day? I’m trying to find early meals for work. Thanks!
Deborah says
I think they would be fine. I wouldn’t go for a whole day in advance, but from the morning to lunch should be just fine!
