I am always needing easy, fast recipes. I love to cook, but sometimes life gets busy, or you just don’t feel like spending time in the kitchen or having to do endless dishes.
So when you need something fast and easy, with very little dishes, these Cucumber Ranch Turkey Tortilla Wraps are your lifesaver.
These wraps are my idea of a perfect light dinner, or a great picnic lunch. So if you are busy or wanting to enjoy time out of the kitchen, this turkey wrap recipe is the perfect solution. Only minutes to make and full of flavor!
Ingredients
There are so many reasons I love these wraps, but one of the big reasons is that there are so few ingredients, yet so much flavor. Here is what you’ll need:
- Cream Cheese – you just need plain cream cheese. You can use it from a brick of cream cheese, or a tub.
- Ranch Seasoning – this is a powder. You can usually find it where the salad dressings are at the grocery store. You’ll just need 1 teaspoon from the packet because a little bit goes a long way. But I always find ways to use the rest of the package – it’s a great all around seasoning!
- Flour Tortillas – I use 8 inch tortilla. You can use white or whole wheat – whichever you prefer.
- Cucumber – I usually have normal slicing cucumbers on hand, but English cucumbers are great, or really, whatever kind of cucumber you like the best.
- Deli Turkey – You can buy this pre-sliced, or have the slice it fresh for you at the deli. I prefer the fresh sliced, but I usually have pre-sliced on hand.
- Pepper – I love the extra little bit of spiciness and flavor from the pepper.
Can You Make Wraps Ahead of Time?
Yes! Wraps are much better to make ahead than sandwiches, because the tortillas won’t get soggy as fast as bread will.
That being said, they will get soggy overtime, so I wouldn’t suggest making them too far in advance. I think these wraps are good for 2-3 days, but after that, they do start to get soggy.
If making wraps ahead of time, I suggest wrapping them individually in plastic wrap or parchment paper so that they will last a little longer.

My kids love picnics too! Before we moved last year, we were right down the street from a park, but since we have a beautiful yard now, during the warm Spring/Summer days I let the girls take a blanket outside and I set them up with a little picnic outside. The best part about that for me ( Since I’m a clean freak) is all you have to do dust the blanket off and all the crumbs are gone, lol!
These wraps look really good and I seriously have a huge love affair with cucumbers. I like to eat them alone with a little dash of salt on them, so so good!

Ranch dressing was my favorite when I was a kid! What’s in ranch seasoning I wonder? Will have to check it out.
Deborah says
@Michelle @ Find Your Balance, I’ve actually been thinking that I need to make a homemade version of it. We’ll see if I can come up with something!
Alanna Boyd says
It’s a combination of creaminess (from buttermilk, sour cream, sometimes mayonnaise) and herbaceousness (often parsley, thyme, dill), plus a long pull of allium (onion and garlic) and a shot of black pepper.
Wendy (The Weekend Gourmet) says
What a nice blog…glad to have discovered you!! Love these sandwiches…I love making wraps for my lunches during warm months too. I live in Texas…it’ll be blazing hot here in another month or so, so I understand wanting to enjoy nice days. We’ll be 78 with blue skies today!

This is a great easy recipe. We love cukes in this house and they go so well with the flavor in ranch dressing. This would be a good recipe to pack in lunches, too.
