There used to be a local restaurant here that sold Italian street food, and they put spaghetti in their wraps. I thought it was weird until I tried it and fell in love. So I thought I’d take that same idea and add some rice noodles to my wrap. It was the best idea!!
These Chicken Teriyaki Wraps were easy and fast, and hearty enough for a weeknight dinner. One wrap was definitely enough for me – they were quite filling!!
Ingredients:
Chicken: This recipe is made easy by using cooked, shredded chicken. I like to keep some in the freezer so that I can pull it out to make easy recipes like this one.
Teriyaki Sauce: You can use homemade or store bought teriyaki sauce. I like my homemade teriyaki sauce because it is on the thicker side. If you do use store bought, you’ll want more of a teriyaki glaze than the regular teriyaki sauce. I like to serve some on the side for dipping, as well.
Noodles: I like to use rice vermicelli noodles. They cook super fast and go well with the Asian ingredients in the wrap. You could also use thin spaghetti noodles.
Tortillas: I just used regular flour tortillas. Make sure you get the large burrito size, because these wraps have a lot of ingredients inside!
Vegetables: You can really use whatever vegetables you have on hand, or whatever you like. I used cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, green onions, and cilantro.
How to Make Chicken Teriyaki Wraps
- Combine the chicken and the teriyaki sauce.
- Cook the noodles.
- Assemble the wraps by layering the chicken, noodles, and vegetables on your tortilla then roll the tortilla up.
- Cut in half and serve!
