A light eggnog flavor makes this Eggnog Popcorn a family friendly holiday treat.

When it comes to Christmas, there are a few flavors that top the want list for me. Peppermint, gingerbread and eggnog.
So far this year, we have covered peppermint, we have covered ginger, so now it’s time to move onto eggnog!!
I like eggnog. I don’t love drinking it – when I do, it’s usually in small quantities, but I think it’s just a texture thing. I don’t like drinking milk, either – the thickness of it gets to me. And eggnog is much thicker than milk, so I sometimes struggle with it. But I love the flavor, and can’t get enough of it. Last year, I went eggnog crazy and made cookies, truffles and bread, so I’m not sure why I’m just now getting started this year! 🙂
My mom was actually talking the other day about what she wanted to make to take to her neighbors this year. She was debating between candy, fudge, and popcorn. So we started talking about the different flavors of popcorn she could make, and that’s when this eggnog popcorn popped into my head.
I think the best part about this recipe, besides the way it tastes, is that it is so super simple to make, and takes very few ingredients. When I first made this popcorn, I was worried that it needed more flavoring it, but after sitting overnight, it was just perfect. I wouldn’t change it at all!
So whether you are looking for an idea to take to the neighbors, or just wanting something festive to snack on, this popcorn needs to top your list!
