This easy, festive, non-alcoholic Holiday Punch Recipe is perfect for any holiday or special occasion. And it makes enough for a crowd!
As we get ready to say good-bye to 2014, I have a couple more recipes that will help you to ring in the New Year. And they are super simple, which we all know we need during the crazy holidays!!
I found this Holiday Punch recipe in a family cookbook, and thought it would be a great way to welcome in the new year. It was called Wedding Punch in the cookbook, but I definitely think this recipe is a perfect drink for any holiday. And since we keep things non-alcoholic around here, this recipe is just perfect and family friendly. The kids always love to drink something special, and this drink fits the bill!
You have to make a simple syrup, but that’s pretty much the hardest part of this recipe. Everything else is just dump and stir. But I do have to warn you that this makes a lot – so it’s perfect for entertaining, but you do have to have a big enough container to hold it all.
I think this Holiday Punch Recipe would be perfect for toasting in 2015!!

Hi, Deborah, Thanks for this recipe. I tasted this more than twenty years ago in the Monument Park 2nd Ward, Foothill Drive area of Salt Lake City. The punch was wonderful, the best ever, and it was a family recipe, served at a wedding and a Church get-together. I asked for the recipe and remember some of the ingredients that I was told. They seem to be the same, although I never had the written recipe. Since you also live in Utah, the chances are pretty good that this is the same wonderful punch! I thought it was unique and so good! I was just doing an online search, looking for this very recipe. Thank you again.

Hi Kathy – I got this recipe from a family cookbook from an aunt that has lived in Utah for a long time. So hopefully it is just what you are looking for!!

I’m always looking for new non-alcoholic things to serve since it seems like everywhere I turn, someone else is pregnant or swearing off alcohol! Love the sound of this punch. Anything gingery speaks to me.

Love the short ingredient list and how simple this is to make!
Julia says
This might be a silly question, but what is the citric acid for in the punch?
Deborah says
It gives the drink a sour or tart flavor.

This recipe makes a ton and I love that! If there is anything I despise more when throwing a party is having to keep an eye on the refreshments. Looks gorgeous!
