The ultimate Hawaiian Pizza - this delicious pizza is stacked with ham, bacon, pineapple, and tons of cheese. This one is for the sweet and salty lovers!
3-4ozfresh pineapplecubed (canned can be substituted)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450ºF. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat for 30 minutes.
Slice the bacon into small pieces and add to a hot skillet. Cook until crispy, then remove to a paper towel lined plate with a slotted spoon. Remove all but about 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease from the pan.
3-4 slices thick cut bacon
To the hot pan, add the ham. Cook, turning as needed, until browned and heated through.
3 oz cubed or sliced cooked ham
Roll or stretch the dough into a large circle, about 12-inches in diameter. Spread the pizza sauce over dough.
1 pound pizza dough*, 1/3 cup pizza sauce
Add the cheese to the top of the pizza, followed by the cooked bacon and ham. Sprinkle on the pineapple.
8 oz mozzarella cheese, 3-4 oz fresh pineapple
Bake in the preheated oven until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
Let the pizza cool fro a couple of minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
*I like a thinner crust, so I use about 3/4 pound of pizza dough.I also like to use parchment paper when making pizza.
