Orange Hot Chocolate

The perfect pick me up, this easy Orange Hot Chocolate is done in about 10 minutes. It’s perfect to serve 1-2, and is creamy with the perfect hint of orange.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 ounces milk chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh orange zest

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan or microwavable bowl, combine the milk, cream, and chocolate. Gently heat, stirring frequently, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the orange juice and orange zest.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

I usually use Hershey’s chocolate. You can use a darker chocolate, but it will not be as sweet.
Top with whipped cream, if desired.
