If you love pepperoni pizza, you’ll go crazy over these Pepperoni Pizza Sliders! Buttery, cheesy, and filled with spices, this is a perfect game day food or family friendly dinner.
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
Use a sharp knife to cut the rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls together. (I find it’s easier to assemble them if you keep them all together.) Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
1 (12-count) package Hawaiian dinner rolls
Spread the pizza sauce over the cut side of the rolls. Sprinkle half of the cheese on top, followed by the pepperoni. Then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the pepperoni. Place the top half of the rolls on top.
1/2 cup pizza sauce, 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, 2.5 oz mini pepperoni
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and red pepper flakes. Spread the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
1/4 cup butter, 2 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Loosely cover the dish with foil. Transfer to the oven to baked for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil, and cook an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are toasted.
Let the sliders sit for a few minutes before cutting into servings.
Notes
I use homemade pizza sauce, which is thicker than most store bought versions. If using store bought, you may need more than 1/2 cup.Nutrition information provided as an estimate only. Various brands and products can change the counts. Any nutritional information should be used as a general guide.
