Ingredients
Dressing
1/2cupvegetable oil(or other neutral oil)
4tablespoonstarragon vinegar
2tablespoonsDijon mustard
1tablespoonsugar
3-4tablespoonshoney
Salad
1(5 oz) bagSpring Mix lettuce
1gala applethinly sliced
1/2small red onionthinly sliced
2kiwishalved and sliced
1(11 oz) canmandarin orangesdrained and roughly chopped
3ozCraisins
1/4cupslivered almondstoasted
Instructions
To make the dressing, combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until combined and creamy.
Combine all of the salad ingredients in a large salad bowl and toss to combine.
1 (5 oz) bag Spring Mix lettuce, 1 gala apple, 1/2 small red onion, 2 kiwis, 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, 1/4 cup slivered almonds, 3 oz Craisins
Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving*.
Notes
*you will probably not need all of the dressing. Store any leftover dressing in a container in the refrigerator.adapted from a recipe in an old family cookbook
