Ingredients
1(1.2 oz) bagfreeze dried strawberries
1/2cupbutter
19ozmini marshmallowsdivided
Pinchof salt
8cupscrispy rice cereal
Instructions
Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing well or lining with parchment paper. Set aside.
Place the freeze dried strawberries in a food processor and process until they are a fine powder. (I don’t mind some chunks in there - it’s all personal preference.)
In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Mix in 16 oz of the mini marshmallows. Cook, stirring frequently, until the marshmallows are melted and everything is combined. Mix in a pinch of salt.
While the marshmallows are melting, place the crispy rice cereal in a large bowl.
Remove the marshmallow mixture from the heat and stir in the strawberry powder. Pour over the crispy rice cereal. Add the remaining 3 ounces of marshmallows. Mix until fully combined.
Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Lightly press the cereal down into a flat layer.
Let the treats cool before cutting into 16 bars to serve.
